ABOUT THE G4C AWARDS

The annual Games for Change (G4C) Awards celebrates the year's best games and XR experiences that tackle social impact causes and make a difference. All awards are competitive and games may be submitted to more than one category. The 2022 G4C Award categories include:

  • Best Gameplay
  • Most Significant Impact*
  • Best Learning Game*
  • Best XR for Change Experience
  • Best Student Game*
  • People's Choice Award
  • Game of the Year

2022 G4C AWARDS TIMELINE

 Submissions Open:  January 10, 2022
 Submissions Close:  February 6, 2022
 Jury Period:  March-May 2022
 Finalists Announcement:  June 2022
 19th Annual G4C Festival:  July 12-15, 2022

ABOUT THE AWARDS

A professional jury will review all submissions and recognize four finalists in each category. Each finalist game will be presented as part of the Awards Showcase for Festival attendees to play.

Winners in all categories will be announced on stage at the Festival’s Awards Ceremony. Finalists will be notified in June 2022 and winners will be announced during the Festival's virtual Award Ceremony.
